What is Life Coaching?

GRIEF COACHING

A compassionate place to meet the life that comes after loss.

Grief changes the landscape. You do not have to rush, perform strength, or know exactly where you are going in order to begin.

THERE IS NO CORRECT TIMELINE

Your grief is not a problem to solve.

Loss can affect your identity, relationships, routines, energy, confidence, and sense of purpose. Some days you may need room simply to name what hurts. On others, you may be ready to consider a decision, rebuild a routine, or imagine a future that you never expected to have to create.

Grief coaching offers a compassionate, forward-facing space for those moments. We honor the continuing bond with what—or whom—you have lost while gently exploring what living now asks of you.

WHAT WE CAN WORK WITH

01

Making room for grief

Give your experience language and space without minimizing it, comparing it, or forcing it into a prescribed stage.

02

Finding steadiness

Create supportive rhythms, boundaries, and practical ways to meet decisions when your capacity feels changed.

03

Reconnecting with yourself

Explore the shift from “we” to “me,” the identities loss has altered, and the parts of you that are still unfolding.

04

Considering forward movement

Begin imagining what could come next without treating forward movement as leaving love, memory, or meaning behind.

IN OUR WORK TOGETHER

We begin wherever you are.

I bring professional coaching experience, grief education, spiritual depth, and lived understanding of profound loss. I will not tell you how grief should look or how quickly you should move.

Instead, we listen for what your grief needs, identify what is within your control, and create next steps that feel humane, realistic, and true to you.

  • Clarify what needs attention now—and what can wait
  • Prepare language for difficult conversations and boundaries
  • Build a personal support system and “board of directors”
  • Approach decisions with more space and less pressure
  • Recognize and interrupt self-abandoning patterns
  • Reconnect with meaning, identity, and possibility

COACHING, THERAPY & REFERRAL

The right support matters.

Grief coaching is not psychotherapy and does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions. It can complement therapy, bereavement groups, spiritual care, and medical support. If your needs move beyond the scope of coaching—or if there are concerns about safety, trauma, severe depression, substance use, or daily functioning—I will encourage support from an appropriately licensed mental-health or healthcare professional.
